“After spending hours on the phone google landed us the number for Tarpon Animal Hospital. I could not have been happier, nor will I take our baby anywhere else. Our baby had gotten mites after the hurricane, and somehow the night before I called them, while I was at work did damage to her tail. ( I fought with these mites for months to no avail. ) They got us right in, and the staff and vet were very nice polite, and amazing with my pup. They got us all the meds we needed and even had options for payment plans. Now after our visit, we have a happy healthy pup. Next on our list will be spay and shots. Thank you so much for helping us and our fur baby. You really went above and beyond for us and we are all very grateful!!!”

“My little Chiweenie needed a dental appointment. Tarpon Animal Hospital was running a special so I figured I’d give them a try. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The vet was caring and kind. My dog now has beautiful white teeth and he’s home and happy again. There was no upcharging, trying to sell more than we needed, and while a previous vet warned he’d need all kinds of extractions none were necessary. I think we have a new vet!”

“The staffed at tarpon animal hospital are the best. I’ve been here a few times and everything the staff has been beyond helpful in answering all of my questions. The facility is very clean it does not smell like animals. The front lobby is spacious and the staff is always very punctual so if you make an appointment please try an stick to it. Once you’ve been helped they will have you and your pet wait in a private room, where the will weight you animal an answer all of your questions. I have had two pregnant french bulldogs and tarpon animal hospital had the most reasonable pricing for a caesarian. They also off x-rays to get an accurate pint of puppies for $100.”

“On such short notice, I called on a Saturday morning as soon as they opened. My little animal was extremely ill.  I told them my grave concern regarding my little one. I don’t have a veterinarian here in Florida as I’m from Michigan and travel very frequently to and from.  The staff was courteous , knowledgeable and friendly.  I was able to get an appointment within hours.  I’m so grateful. She was given the best care, with a complete understanding of what was wrong. They provided the correct medications with information and instructions as too how to get her back on her feet.  The prices were very reasonable and no extra charges for new client and emergency visit.  Hopefully we’ll not have to return in such dire straits, just routine visits.  They called early on Monday morning to see how her recovery was going. “Our dog broke one of her claws over the weekend. I called on Monday and got in the next day. This was the first time using this vet and I was pleasantly surprised with how accommodating they were, just over the phone! My whole experience was that way, start to finish. The staff was super friendly and treated our Mykie like she was one of their own…Super gentle and patient. Even injured our dog is a handful. “I recently visited Tarpon Animal Hospital for our new puppy to have his first exam, shots and to get established with a local vet. Every part of the visit exceeded my expectations.  The front office staff were friendly and welcoming. We saw Dr. Abbate and Tammy was our vet tech.  They were both wonderful, gentle and SO caring.  Dr. Abbate took his time and helped answer all my questions and concerns.  The office also gave a follow-up phone call the day after to be sure he was doing well after his shots. I would highly recommend Tarpon Animal Hospital. I feel very fortunate to have found such a wonderful place to care for our puppy.  Thank you!”

“Can’t say enough how wonderful this place is. The staff is amazing, my dog needed an emergency c-section, they took her right back and put us in a room. Comforted her and us. “We have just moved into the area and had not gotten around to finding a vet for our dogs. Our Basset hound got a nasty bug bite which was swollen and oozing so we had to find a vet in a hurry. I called Tarpon Animal hospital and they squeezed our dog’s appt. in between other appointments. . The staff was friendly and Dr Redmond explained everything that she was doing to diagnose and treat the bite and infection. They also did a follow up call the next day to see how the patient was doing. We are very happy with our first experience at TAH and will probably continue to use them for our other two dogs.”

“I took my dog to this facility after our original vet failed to properly diagnose a skin issue he was having.  Dr. Redmond was the vet we saw.  She took a scraping of the affected area and provided a diagnosis that turned out to be spot on! She prescribed a medication that, after only two days, has begun to make a difference in my boy.  It’s wonderful to find a vet who gets it right the first time.  We will be staying with this facility.  Thank you for solving our dog’s issue.”
